1. What cookies are

They can be first-party (set by this site) or third-party (set by others, e.g. through an embedded map), and technical (no consent needed) or analytics/profiling (prior consent required).

The site does not use its own session, login or profiling cookies. Fonts are hosted on our own server: no connection to Google Fonts.
4. Statistics – Google Analytics 4 (consent only)
If you accept the "Statistics" category, we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd. and Google LLC) to know, in aggregate form, how many people visit the site and which pages they read. Google Signals and ad personalisation are disabled; the data is not combined with other services or used for advertising. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.

5. External content (consent only)
Until you allow it, a placeholder is shown instead of the content below and no data is sent to these providers.
| Service | Where | What it does | Policy |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Maps (Google Ireland / Google LLC) | Practical info / contact section | Map of the house location; may set cookies (e.g. NID, AEC) and receive your IP | Google Privacy |
| Tripadvisor (Tripadvisor LLC) | English home page, reviews box | Widget with rating and latest reviews; may set cookies and receive your IP | Tripadvisor Privacy |
6. Links to other sites
The site contains plain links to Booking.com, Tripadvisor, WhatsApp, Facebook, Google Maps directions and other tourism sites. These links set no cookies on this site: once you follow them, the other site's own policy applies.
7. Managing your choices
- On your first visit the banner lets you reject, accept all or customise the categories. Closing it with the "X" keeps technical tools only.
- You can change your mind at any time via the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of every page, or the button below.
- Your choice is remembered for 6 months, then we ask again.
- You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge. Google also offers an Analytics opt-out add-on.
8. Your rights
For data collected through cookies you have the same rights described in the Privacy Policy. Write to giorgio.lai@outlook.com.
9. Updates
If we add or remove services we will update this page and, where needed, ask for your consent again.
